Ken Turkewitz is the Interim Executive Director of The Jewish Center.
Ken has held roles as a high tech Program Manager, working on programs such as the establishment of Internet infrastructure and creation of new driver license systems for several U.S. states (including New Jersey); and as a synagogue Executive Director at congregations in Worcester, MA and New Bedford, MA. He is also a former President of Temple Shaare Tefilah in Norwood, Massachusetts.
Ken is a Past President of the New England Region of the Federation of Jewish Men’s Clubs (FJMC) and is currently international co-chair of the FJMC Leadership Development Institute. He also serves as a council member with the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Boston, and is a recent volunteer with Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Boston. Ken holds a degree in Computer Science and Engineering from M.I.T. Ken and his wife, Carol, live in Walpole, MA (though he is residing in Princeton during his TJC tenure), and have five adult sons.
