Hazzan Naomi Hirsch


Hazzan Naomi Hirsch studied at Hebrew Union College-School of Sacred Music in New York City, where she received Cantorial Ordination; a Master of Sacred Music, and an Honorary Doctorate. She has held pulpits in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. Hazzan Hirsch serves as a chaplain for Jewish Family and Children’s Services of Greater Philadelphia and conducts The Philadelphia Workmen’s Circle Chorus. She is also in demand as a teacher, a lifecycle officiant, and a performer, locally, nationally, and abroad.
 
Hazzan Hirsch resides in Philadelphia where she serves as a chaplain for Jewish Family and Children’s Services of Greater Philadelphia; the conductor of the Philadelphia Workmen’s Circle Chorus; a teacher of Hebrew and Judaism to students of all ages; a lifecycle officiant, and more. She is dedicated to being a life-long student. Currently, she is in her fourth year of study in the Mussar Leadership Program.
