Join Us For "Conversation Sabbath" on November 3

Following Kiddush at approximately 1:15

Nobody likes to think about it but everyone needs to: what’s important to us and our loved ones about planning for end-of-life care choices.  This year we will be joining with congregations of all faith traditions across the country to observe “Conversation Sabbath” sponsored by The Conversation Project  This event happens over a ten-day period and our discussion will be on the Shabbat for parasha Chayei Sarah - a natural link to this subject.

In addition to remarks during the Shabbat service, we will gather after Kiddush for a presentation by Dr. David Barile, founder of Goals of Care Coalition of NJ, the preeminent source of information about end-of-life care for New Jerseyans, along with Rabbi Feldman and TJC members Lori Feldstein (GOCCNJ Executive Director) and Gil Gordon (GOCCNJ Board Member).  Materials will be available for your follow-up discussions with your family members.

Watch your email for updates and further details.  Questions? Contact Gil Gordon
