We are a vibrant, diverse, egalitarian synagogue affiliated with the Conservative movement. Our congregation strives to create a dynamic religious community through enriching Jewish study, joyous celebration and meaningful connection to God and Torah.
Dedicated to creating an inclusive environment that fosters Jewish spiritual and intellectual growth, we encourage all those who are Jewish or wish to learn about Judaism to participate in our synagogue. We embrace a wide diversity of lifestyles and households – young and mature; men and women; single and married; with children and without children; more and less traditional in observance; LGBT; and interfaith families.
The reasons for joining The Jewish Center are as diverse as our members. Whatever pathway you choose to enter The Jewish Center, you become part of an inclusive and caring congregation with whom you can share the most significant events in your life from births, b’nai mitzvah and weddings to funerals and memorial services. Together, we create community by celebrating Shabbat and holidays, sharing in educational, social and cultural activities, participating in tikkun olam (repairing the world) and connecting to and supporting Israel.
We appreciate and rely on the financial commitment of our members to help fulfill our mission, serve our members, educate our congregants and involve ourselves in the community. However, cost should not be a barrier to membership. Dues adjustments are available if you have financial needs. If you would like to discuss reduced fees, financial concerns or a payment plan, please contact the Executive Director. All special arrangements are made in the strictest confidence.
We hope you will become a member and we may be a part of your life for many years to come. Our goal is for you to feel like a part of our family and involve yourself in The Jewish Center community.
If you are deciding if The Jewish Center is the right place for you, we suggest that you: Join us for a service, attend a program or register for a class.
Prospective members are always welcome! Browse our website to get a sense of our diverse community and all of the programs and services you will benefit from as a synagogue member.
If you have children, learn about our Religious School.
We would enjoy meeting you and having a chance to convey all that The Jewish Center has to offer.
